Firas AL MAHMOUD is full professor. He holds a Ph.D. in strengthening reinforced concrete structures from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Toulouse, France. Accreditation to supervise research (HDR) (2016). Prof. Firas AL MAHMOUD currently works at Lorraine University in France as a structural engineering educator. He teaches at several engineering schools. He was the Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Lorraine University from the 2017 – 2020 academic year. Furthermore, He also develops innovative strengthening techniques utilizing fiber-reinforced polymers and cementitious-based mortar. He supervised many Master's and PhD students. He is the author of dozens of research papers and the organizer of some international conferences.

My research areas and teaching interest include Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), MANET, Cognitive Radio Networks, Image Processing (Segmentation, Compression, Image Fusion, Image Restoration), Speech Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical applications, Antenna design, Wireless communication, and Wireless power transfer, Internet of Things, Robotics and Sustainability. I have a passion for my research in serving the society and others with improved information and hope to enrich other researchers with the knowledge found. Hence, I am continuing my research work in the areas mentioned above and in near future will be identified for the contribution to the society. More than 100 publications in national and international journals and conferences, workshops, seminars, invited talks, guest lectures given and attended.

Honggui LI received his B.S. degree in Electronics from Yangzhou University and his Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He is a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. He was a post-doctoral fellow and visiting scholar at Institut Supérieur d'Électronique de Paris for one year. He is an Associate Professor of Electronics and responsible for postgraduate program of Electronics at Yangzhou University. As a reviewer for some international journals, he is the author of more than 30 refereed journal and conference articles. He is TPC member and session chair of some international conferences. His current research interests include image processing, machine learning, and integrated circuits.

Prof. WANG Qingyuan is a full Professor of Sichuan University since 2001. He was the President of Chengdu University between 2014 and 2024. He received his PhD in 1998 from Ecole Centrale Paris (University Paris-Saclay), France. He was visiting professor at University of Paris East (France), Technical University of Claustal (Germany), University of New Hampshire (USA), University of Liverpool (UK) and Kyushu University (Japan). His research activity is focused on Materials, Mechanics and Structures, Super Long Life Durability, 3D Printing, Green Buildings and Low Carbon Materials. He has published over 300 papers in SCI index journals, including Nature, Nature Commun, Prog Mater Sci, Adv Mater, Adv Func Mater, Adv Science, Acta Mater, IJ Fatigue, etc. He was named on the list of Chinese Most Cited Researchers (Elsevier) from 2014 to 2023. He served as Editor-in chief for Green Buildings and Materials, co-chief editor for Chinese Journal of Experimental Mechanics, Associate editor for JMMP, editorial member for FFEMS, IJ Fatigue, etc. He has chaired or co-chaired a number of international or national conferences, including the 6 th International Conference on Very High Cycle Fatigue (VHCF-6, 2014), 2021+1 Chinese Congress on Mechanics, and The 55th of Advanced Materials Congress (2023, Sweden), 22th National Conference of Fatigue＆Fracture (2024, Chengdu) etc. He has received a number of awards, including the Distinguished Chinese Scholar Award from the NSF of China (2009), The Second Prize of National Natural Science Award (PI, China, 2018), The First Prize of Sci & Tech Progress (PI, The Chinese Society of Mechanics, 2021), European Advanced Materials Award of the Year 2022(International Association of Advanced Materials), Outstanding Paper Award of 2013-2023 (Materials Research Letters), Senior Career Award of 2024 ( Inter J Structural Integrity), ICCES Distinguished Fellow Award of 2024 (the International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences and the Tech Science Press) and JSPS Fellowship Award of 2024 (the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science). He is an Effective Fellow candidate of Chinese Academy of Engineering (2019), Fellow of European Academy of Sciences and Arts (2023) and Fellow of European Academy of Sciences (2024).

Liangchi Zhang is a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China. He is also the Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Science and Engineering (FTSE). Zhang obtained his BSc and MEng from Zhejiang University, PhD from Peking University, China, and DEng (higher doctorate) from the University of Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining SUSTech, he has worked at the University of New South Wales and University of Sydney, Australia, University of Cambridge, UK, National Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, MITI, Japan, and Zhejiang University, China. Zhang carries out research on both the fundamentals and industrial applications in the cross-disciplinary field of advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, tribology, nanotechnology, solid mechanics, precision optics manufacturing, bio-mechanics and bio-manufacturing. He has published extensively in his research areas and his research outcomes are well received by peers. His technologies have led to significant economic benefits for manufacturing industry. Zhang has been granted awards and honours more than 20 times.
